Builders VC is one of the leading venture capital firms based in Silicon Valley and Canada. The Builders VC team has five core investment professionals and focuses on investing in companies that are revolutionizing antiquated industries like healthcare, industrials, agriculture, and real estate.
As a small investment team, many of the back-office functions, like CRM management and deal-flow logging were something that the firm did not have the resources to handle without hiring a full-time analyst.
Builders required a part-time resource to help with data entry to streamline their investment review process. With much of the deal flow information living in different data sources, we needed a single source to help collect and enter that information inside our firmwide CRM tool.
Our Despacho EA works actively inside our CRM tools, Salesforce and Affinity, to make sure that all deal and contact records are up to date and relevant based on the status of all contacts within in the firm. Over time we have slowly increased responsibility to help with some lightweight scheduling for some of the team members at Builders VC.
